SustainABLE Start

SustainABLE Start is a charity that provides eco-friendly hygiene kits to New Yorkers who needs them. They have many opportunities for high schoolers to join:

General member: your job is to help prepare the hygiene kits and promote the initiative on social media. This is a lower-commitment role.

If you are more interested in gaining a true position in the organization, you have the opportunity to take on bigger roles that involve specialization. For example, you can get involved in focusing on media or sustainability. You can also learn how to start a chapter at your high school here, where you would be able to raise money and create kits at school.
